Last Sunday, A.P. Rodgers made a last-minute stop in Columbia for a lunchtime set at Read Freely Fest, held at Richland Library. I called him one of the last of his kind — a singer-songwriter from the Lancaster area (Tradesville specifically) keeping the spirit of Carolina folk alive, especially across the Sandhills and Black Water regions of the state.
